Current Opportunities:
TITLE: Spanish language and ESL Curriculum Specialist DUTIES: Develop instructional materials and assess educational programs designed for Spanish language and ESL teaching in terms of quality and adherence to school and state regulations and standards. Plan and conduct teacher training programs and conferences dealing with new classroom procedures, instructional material and equipment, and teaching aids. Observe work of teaching staff in order to evaluate performance and to recommend changes that could strengthen teaching skills. Evaluate the school’s curriculum with emphasis on Spanish language and ESL education to ensure it meets students’ needs and make adjustments as needed. Assist in implementing new technology in the classroom. Evaluate and recommend latest educational computer software programs designed to enhance student literacy and develop skills. Participate in workshops, committees and conferences designed to promote the intellectual, social and physical welfare of students.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Bilingual Education and ESL teaching and exp. in curriculum development for ESL students. & developing instructional materials required HOURS: 40 hours per week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
