Quality Education Carefully Crafted that Promote Hands-On and Minds-On Experiences!
"We believe that a preschool is not just a place where we keep your child safe and learning. We want your child to be safe, happy and enthusiastic about learning and discovering while he/she develops independence, values and social skills in a very well structured program.
We also believe that our responsibility is not only with your child, but with your family. We want to go beyond; we want you to feel that First Steps International Academy is an extension of your home, and, furthermore, we are here to make your life easier and to help you out." Gilberto Pinzon, Owner.
First Steps International Academy is a preschool that serves families with children one to five years old and in addition offers a program for elementary age children during the afternoon.
FSIA provides quality education carefully crafted by our staff based on the developmentally appropriate guidelines of international standards for young children such as the ones given by the British and Western Australia Departments of Education.
FSIA's curriculum has high standards taught using the best practices in the world within a provocative and nurturing environment. FSIA is inspired by the Reggio schools philosophy in Italy, the Primary Years Program from the IB world schools and follows the Visible Thinking approach created by Harvard University's Project Zero.
At First Steps Int'l Academy children discover knowledge and develop their skills through inquiry and fun and exciting experiences!
